As former UN President, Dr. Charles Malik once said and we often quote: “The university is a clear cut fulcrum with which to move the world… Change the university and you will change the world.”
This GIVING TUESDAY, imagine with us, “a guild of Christian academics around the globe, developing faith filled educational opportunities for the cultural leaders of tomorrow.” Support the work of Scholars in growing programs like the Christian Religious Studies undergraduate and *new! graduate degree program in The University of the Gambia – where we are seeking to raise the next generation of local Christian scholarly leadership. Africa needs to hold on to its own brightest and best!
As GSC is poised to celebrate 30 years of Christian higher education around the globe in 2025, we’re inspired by a supporter’s recent message that our “kindness and commitment is appreciated”. Indeed, we intend to “keep up the work of passing on the torch of knowledge to new generations.”
Students need mentors in this life, and our scholars offer them a vision for life–both by their modelling and their teaching. Your gifts help us stay alert to what students both need and read.
