Together with its US partner, Global Scholars Canada (GSC) maintains a community of Christian professors sharing a commitment to serve with excellence in public universities outside North America. Its members teach their disciplines in the context of a Christian worldview and values. In doing so, GSC professors are salt and light (Matthew 5:13-14) for future leaders in nations where there is little if any witness to the gospel. GSC professors are often God’s only ambassadors “seeking the peace of the city” through the classrooms of these distant lands (Jeremiah 29:7), desiring to advance justice and human flourishing (shalom).

In the context of its partnership with Global Scholars, GSC focuses on the placement of Christian professors who are Canadian citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.

Over 90 percent of world leaders and heads of state attended a university or an institution of higher learning. Imagine the difference in our world if these leaders had been taught by followers of Jesus presenting their disciplines from a Christian worldview.
