GSC Event Now an SCS Webinar

Global Scholars Canada hosted its first retreat event in collaboration with the Global Scholars US office in July 2019 at Tyndale University and College Seminary in Toronto, ON.

The event was a success in bringing together the Canadian and US offices, and providing a relaxing time for some Global Scholars professors who were back in North America for their summer teaching break.

One of the main events was a guest speaker night which the Society of Christian Scholars turned into a webinar to offer on their portal.

Dr. Peter Schuurman, GSC’s Executive Director, was Moderator.

About 60 were in attendance that evening, and we all enjoyed and learned from Esther’s words mixed with Susan, Obert, and Peter’s comments.

A highlight was the singing that Esther graced us with, and the sense of community among those gathered.
